GO Month Event (Open to the Public)

GO MONTH 2025

Have you ever wondered what it would be like to get ALL your decluttering and organizing questions answered from an organizing pro?  Wonder no more! The Minnesota Chapter of the National Association of Productivity and Organizing Professionals (NAPO-Minnesota) is hosting an Ask the Organizer Event on Monday, January 13 at 6-8 pm CST for our annual GO MONTH event. This is always an event you don’t want to miss!

TOPIC: Ask the Organizer!

Attendees will gain knowledge from not one, not two, but five panel experts on topics such as ditching the shame and anxiety around organizing; pantry and kid space organization; insight to organizing around ADHD and Brain-Based Conditions: productivity and minimalism; and how to stay organized.

PANEL SPEAKERS:

  • Joni Bastable | Breakthrough Organizing – ditching the shame and anxiety around organizing
  • Sarah Cronin | Simply Inspired Home Organizing – organizing kids spaces; ADHD and Brain Based Conditions
  • Michele Dudley | Reyestone Organization – maintenance once you are organized
  • Shannon Gaylord | Room for Life – pantries – measuring for, preferred containers, process
  • Aimee Olson | Life Done Simply –  productivity and minimalism

Some of the valuable second-best tips offered by the panel include:

  • From Joni: The more you avoid your situation, the worse you feel. Don’t wait to reach out for help.
  • From Sarah: Be vigilant about all-or-nothing thinking: Release perfectionism by holding some space specifically for miscellaneous items, which makes maintenance easier.
  • From Shannon: Creating zones in your pantry allows you to easily see what you have, what you need, and what you don’t need, saving both time and money.
  • From Aimee: Self-control and moral awareness are strongest in the morning, so aim to brainstorm and make important decisions early in the day to maximize this clarity and decrease decision fatigue.

To hear panelists’ first-best tips, join us on January 13, 2025. This gathering is a fragrance-free setting.
