TOPIC: We All Know Compulsive Shoppers.  How to Cut the Shame and Help.

DESCRIPTION: Shopping is a behavioral addiction and needs to be understood.  We are surrounded by the perfect storm: social media, retail money psychology, and financial industry enablement.  You will learn what overshopping looks like — many of you see it already.  You will also learn the tools and activities to help a client curb their overshopping and focus on healthier alternatives.

SPEAKER: Carrie Rattle from Behavioral Cents

BIO: Carrie’s mission is to put more money into the pockets of women, because money speaks. She is a Financial Therapist/Coach and Founder of Behavioral Cents.

Carrie is a 30-year veteran executive of the financial industry. She holds a BA from The University of Western Ontario, and an MBA from the Schulich School of Business, York University, Toronto. She is also an Accredited Financial Counselor (AFC), the only financial coaching designation recognized by FINRA.

To expand her depth of knowledge on the money psychology side, Carrie trained with Psychotherapist/Author Olivia Mellan. Olivia is a money psychology pioneer who has been hosted on Oprah, the Today Show, ABC’s 20/20, and other nationwide media. She is an author of 5 critically acclaimed books and a columnist for Investment Advisor Magazine.  Carrie further clinically trained under the nationally known and published author, Psychologist Dr. April Benson on her Stopping Overshopping(TM) program.

Carrie has delivered keynote speeches, and has been featured by CNBC, CBC, NextAdvisor | TIME, Yahoo! Finance, and others.
